Robert Brown's Magazine Spread

    This magazine spread featuring Robert Brown was published in the Union Carbide magazine in February of 1957 as the Wildcats were on the road to the state playoffs. Robert was one of the star players on the Creek team that advanced into the state tournment in March of 1957. Robert's step-father was an employee of Union Carbide at the time.

Creek vs. Galveston Ball 1-17-06

    These photos are of pages in the program for the recent Creek vs. Galveston Ball game played at the Carlisle Field House on January 17, 2006. That game was won by the Wildcats, 81-59. Lance Pevehouse led the Creek scorers with 23 points. Thanks to Hugh Taylor (Class of '59) for sending these along.

The Loss of Pat Jensen

We received word today from Dan Jensen that his younger brother, Pat - a former Wildcat basketball player in the 50"s and who also played basketball for Sam Houston State University- passed away today from complications due to cancer.  We are all saddened by this loss and offer our condolences and prayers to all the Jensen family.  We will certainly miss Pat and will forever keep him in our memories.

Dan sent along the following obituary:

Patrick Earl Jensen, 74, died February 20, 2013 in Kingwood, TX. He was born May 30, 1938 in Lexington, TX, the son of H.C. and Vivian Jensen. Pat graduated from Webster High School (Clear Creek), Sam Houston State University, and retired from Chevron USA. He is survived by wife Rosella of Kingwood, TX, daughter, Tammy Schultz of Fort Worth, TX, Grandson, Scott Schultz of Houston, TX, Granddaughter, Jillian Schultz of Fort Worth, TX, and son Todd Jensen of Elgin, TX, brother Dan Jensen of Claremore, OK. There will be no funeral service. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
