I enjoyed this post. Unfortunately, rebounding was a stat that wasn't kept in the mid '50's and the list may be incomplete. Nobody likes asterisks in the record books, but Paul Blanchard would have definitely made this list if records were available. So, in lieu of an *, I'm recognizing Paul and giving him his just recognition via these comments. There may be others.

Pat's post reminds that it recently occurred to me that this is the 50th anniversary of our basketball program's first trip to the state tournament and that very memorable game with Phillips.
Paul Blanchard, Pat Jensen and Garvis Hadley were senior starters on that 33-1 club, joined by juniors Robert Brown and James Davis.
I don't recall who the coach was. Fifty years is a long time ago.
